Coronado Unified School District: A reputation of excellence in the public schools of San Diego County. Coronado Unified even offers COSA (COronado School of the Arts), a department for the artistically inclined student.

Hotel del Coronado: The most famous and historical hotel on the island. Known for its role in the move, "Some Like it Hot" with Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon and being the focal point when Coronado was Tent City, this hotel is a must-see when visiting the island.

Leroy's: Coronado has been in need of a great night time hang out for a long time. Leroy's just opened this summer and provides the loungy atmosphere this island has needed.
The Tavern : This is another long-awaited hang out. You know me, I love a good Happy Hour, and this place has 2! It's right near the beach, has a very cool decor, and has a mix of all ages.
Miguel's: Easily the best Mexican restaurant in the Coronado Village. You have to try the white sauce!
Il Fornaio: Italian food with a spectacular view of downtown San Diego
Vigilucci's: Romantic ambiance with authentic Italian food
Brigantine: Classy American cuisine with an especially fantastic seafood selection
Bistro d'Asia: Different plates from various countries in Asia. From sushi to Moo Goo Gai Pan.
